LekkerPets is built for players of all ages, with younger players in mind from day one.
- No ads, no trackers, no chat. Nobody can message your child, and nothing follows them around the web.
- Playing needs no personal information. Without an account, the pet is saved only on the device.
- Parents approve accounts for under-18s. We email you a link, and nothing is stored online until you approve.
- Gentle by design. Pets never die, and there are no guilt trips, countdowns or pop-ups pushing purchases.
- Purchase requests. Players under 18 can only ask; a parent approves or declines every purchase.
- A parent dashboard with spending limits. See every purchase, set a monthly limit, or switch purchases off.
- Sharing controls. Share cards show a pet's name, never your child's, and you can switch sharing off.
- Delete anytime. An account can be deleted from the game in two taps. Read our privacy policy.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Is LekkerPets really free?
Yes. You can play, care for your pets, grow them up and win packs without paying anything. Random packs are always earned by playing and are never sold.
Do I need to download anything or make an account?
No. It plays in your web browser; just open your first pack. A free account is optional: it keeps your pets safe and lets you play on more than one device.
Can my pet die or run away?
Never. Pets get hungry, sleepy or a bit messy over time, but they never get hurt. When you come back, they're just happy to see you.
How do pets grow up?
Every care action builds your bond. With enough bond a baby becomes a junior, then an adult. Lots of play leads to one adult form, naps, baths and cuddles to another, and favourite treats to the third.
What are the mini games?
The Arcade has five quick games (more unlock as you level up). Reach a game's goal score to win a Treat Pack, up to 2 a day across all games. You also earn coins and stars.
How do rooms work?
You start with a bedroom and unlock the Garden, Sky Loft and Crystal Grotto as you level up. Place decorations, wallpaper and floors from your Bag. Placing something never uses it up.
What is the Sanctuary?
You can have two pets at home at a time. The others rest in the Sanctuary Meadow, where they never get hungry or lonely, and can come home whenever you like.
How do I get the Baby Dragon and other Rares?
Your first pack has a 8% chance of a Baby Dragon. Packs you earn can also hold Rare Egg Fragments: 8 fragments hatch a Rare egg, and you're guaranteed a fragment at least every 25 packs.
I got a new phone. Where's my pet?
If you saved your pet to an account, open the game on the new phone and sign in with the same email. Your pet comes right over.
Is it safe for younger players?
Yes: no ads, no chat, no trackers, and accounts for players under 18 need a parent's approval. See the parent guide and our privacy policy.
How do payments work?
Purchases are optional and go through PayPal, so we never see card details. Every paid pack lists its exact contents before you buy.
Can I get a refund?
If something went wrong with a purchase, email hello@lekkerpets.com and we'll sort it out. Read the refund policy.
How do purchase requests work for under-18s?
Players under 18 can't pay themselves. They send a request; a parent gets an email, sees exactly what it is and the price, and approves or declines.
Can I buy things yet?
Yes, though you never need to. The game is complete without spending anything. Paid packs always list their exact contents, and random packs are only ever earned by playing.
Why are prices in US dollars?
The store charges in US dollars so the price is the same everywhere. We show an approximate amount in rand next to it; your bank converts the final amount.
What does the Pass include?
A Pass Pack every month with that month's creature and theme, 4 Arcade packs a day instead of 2, double Arcade coins and room for four pets at home. See the Pass page.
What happens if the Pass ends?
Everything you already received stays yours forever. The extra daily packs and pet spaces stop at the end of the paid period, and no pet is ever lost.
